Wisconsin Cheddar-Mushroom Bundles
Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1/3 diced onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4 ounces white mushrooms, coarsely chopped
- 4 ounces crimini mushrooms, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup half and half
- 1 cup shredded Wisconsin Cheddar
- 1/3 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 9 sheets phyllo dough, each cut into 8 squares
- 1/2 cup plum-chipotle sauce, raspberry-chipotle sauce or sweet barbecue sauce for serving
