Peanut Butter Cream Filled Donuts

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
• 2/3 cup milk, at room temperature
• 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened to room temperature and cut into pieces
• oil for frying

Peanut Butter Pastry Cream

• 1 1/2 cups whole milk
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup cake flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 4 large egg yolks
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 1/2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, melted
• 1/3 cup cold heavy cream

Chocolate Drizzle

• 3 ounces chocolate, chopped
• 2 tablespoons heavy cream
