Dulce de Leche Stacked Cake
Ingredients
For Roll Cake
- 6 eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk, warmed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon rum
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Assembly
- 1 can of Dulce de leche (about 2 cups)
- Rum (about 1/4 cup)
- Confectioner’s sugar
- 1 cup of whipped cream (recipe to follow)
- 3 ounces dark chocolate (60% to 62% cacao) Chopped and melted
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
