Blueberry Sorbet Macarons
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- Zest and juice of one lemon
For the shells:
- 3.25 ounces egg whites (use egg whites that have been preferably left 3-4 days in the fridge)
- 1 ounce granulated sugar
- 7 ounces powdered sugar
- 4 ounces almonds (slivered, blanched, sliced, whatever you like)
- 1 tablespoon cherry pink powdered food coloring
