Almond and Blackberry Cake
Ingredients
For cake:
- 3/4 cup + 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 8 ounce almond paste
- 1 cup (8 ounces) butter, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 6 large eggs, at room temperature
For topping:
- 12 ounces blackberries
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Juice of half a meyer lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon orange blossom water, optional
- Bittersweet (72%) chocolate curls
